Media & Publications
The Office of Communications and Marketing communicates information about the programs, research, history and activities of the College to the general public, alumni, media, current and prospective students and their parents, faculty, administration and staff.
Located on the ground floor of the Long Administration building, our office also provides a wide range of creative services; including marketing assistance, media relations, web services, and the design and production of printed materials, to the campus community. In addition, the department also handles print and broadcast advertising and oversees the College's website.
- News Services – As the official voice of the campus, contact us to gather information about Hanover, including student activities, athletics, honors, special events, exhibits and cultural productions. We can also connect you with experts or speakers that can provide knowledgeable commentary on topical issues for background information, breaking news or features.
- Publications – Our comprehensive creative and production services for print publications are available to all campus constituents. These include departmental materials for special events, marketing and advertising and The Hanoverian, our alumni magazine.
- Web Communications – Our office designs, manages and updates the main Hanover website. We also offer guidance and assistance in creating web pages for departments and establishing guidelines for web content and design.
Senior Director of Communication and Marketing
Rhonda has more than 25 years of experience that includes marketing, public relations, promotions and video consulting for both profit and nonprofit organizations. Her primary responsibilities are directing and implementing overall campus public relations efforts, coordinating the promotional and publicity efforts for campus programs and departments and overseeing the duties of the communications staff.

Sandra Guthrie has more than 20 years of experience, including editing, writing, public relations and marketing, and management. She serves as project manager and senior editor for the alumni magazine, The Hanoverian, and the e-newsletter, @Hanover, as well as senior project manager, editor and copywriter for all requested campus materials. Guthrie is the primary campus resource for graphic and identity standard issues.

Rick has more than 20 years of experience as a visual designer, serving corporate and non-profit institutions for print, multimedia and interface design solutions.
His primary responsibilities include the oversight, management and creation of printed and electronic materials for all campus print publications that circulate to both internal and external audiences.
