Live video of commencement will be broadcast online at hanover.edu/live.
Hanover College will celebrate its 181st Commencement at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, at The Point, weather permitting. If the weather is inclement, Commencement will be held in Collier Arena and a ticket will be required to attend.
Baccalaureate will be held at 10 a.m. in Collier Arena; tickets will not be required.
Photos for graduating legacy families will be taken at The Point before the Commencement ceremony.
Because of congestion and limited parking facilities, no Saturday traffic will be permitted around The Point or anywhere east of the cross-campus road running between the Campus Center and the Administration Building. If you have persons for whom walking is difficult, graduating seniors may obtain passes from the Office of Academic Affairs permitting you to drive near the seating area to discharge passengers. Campus guests will be asked to park behind Lynn Hall, near the Administration Building, behind Wiley Hall, behind the Center for Fine Arts or in the Horner Center parking area.
The College will host a brunch between Baccalaureate and Commencement in the Campus Center Dining Room. Students will be given 3 tickets for themselves and their parents. Additional tickets can be purchased at a cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children. Children under the age of 4 are free. There will be two brunch servings from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additional tickets may be purchased from David Collier at the J. Graham Brown Campus Center, Hanover College, P. O. Box 108, Hanover, IN 47243. When ordering tickets by mail, please include your student’s name and indicate which brunch serving you wish to attend.
