Sophomore Robert Bader (Louisville, Ky.) has earned all-region honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America. Bader was one of just 12 athletes named to the PING Great Lakes Region team.
Bader led Hanover, and ranked seventh in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, with a 76.2 stroke average. He notched six top-five finishes during the season and nabbed all-HCAC honors with a fifth-place finish in the league’s 72-hole championship tournament.
The Golf Coaches Association of America was established in 1958 and maintains a goal of increasing awareness and the status of men’s golf. There are more than 750 members in the GCAA representing all three National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) divisions as well as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
