The Hanover College Invitational completed play with five matches, Saturday, Sept. 8, in Collier Arena.
Ohio Northern University swept its four matches to claim the top spot in the five-team event. The Polar Bears posted four-set wins against Spalding University (Ky.) and Bethany College (W.Va.) in the invitational's second day to improve to 8-1 this season.
Host Hanover opened the day with a three-set win against Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference-foe Anderson University, winning 25-23, 25-11, 25-19. The Panthers, however, dropped a five-set decision to Bethany to cap the tournament.
