Hanover College placekicker Dylan Dunlop (Miami, Fla.) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference’s football special teams player of the week.
Dunlop, a junior, converted a season-high 7-of-7 point-after-touchdown attempts to help Hanover post a 55-10 victory against Earlham College in the Panthers’ Homecoming game last weekend.
Dunlop is fifth on the Panthers in scoring with 24 points this season. He has made 21-of-27 point-after attempts and also nailed a 20-yard field goal against the College of Mount St. Joseph (Ohio), Sept. 15.
In his career, Dunlop has hit 85-of-103 point-after attempts and 15-of-20 field goals, including a career-long 42-yarder against Anderson University during the 2011 campaign.
Hanover, riding a six-game winning streak, is 6-2 overall and 6-0 in the Heartland Conference. The Panthers face Manchester University in a league clash, Saturday, Nov. 3, in North Manchester, Ind.
