Senior forward Courtney Prater (Anderson, Ind.) has become one of just three athletes in Hanover College women’s basketball history to record more than 1,200 career points and 700 rebounds.
Prater has scored 1,211 career points and pulled down 718 boards. She is coming off a 21-point, 12-rebound effort at Anderson University, Feb. 6.
Prater joins former Hanover standouts Molly Martin and Jennifer Skaggs in the elite group.
Martin, the leading scorer and rebounder in school history, posted 1,887 points and 1,091 boards for the Panthers from 2007-2011. Skaggs, a two-time conference most-valuable player, totaled 1,524 points and 773 rebounds from 1997-2001.
A three-time all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference honoree, Prater leads Hanover in scoring and rebounding this season. She is averaging 17.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per contest.
She currently ranks seventh in school history in scoring and fifth in rebounding.
