Junior defender Sam Kampert (Noblesville, Ind.) and sophomore midfielder Luke Karnick (Indianapolis, Ind.) have earned honorable-mention all-league honors from the Midwest Lacrosse Conference.
Kampert received post-season honors for the first time in his career after leading the Panthers’ defense with 20 caused turnovers. He also collected 42 ground balls and tallied one assist.
Karnick, a first-time all-MLC selection, ranked second on Hanover’s squad with 33 goals and had eight assists. He led the Midwest Lacrosse Conference and set school single-season records with 163 shots and 92 shots on goal.
Hanover, in its third season as an intercollegiate program, posted a 5-11 record. The Panthers were eighth in the MLC standings with a 3-7 mark.
