After falling into a 2-0 deficit, Hanover College’s volleyball team rallied to force a fifth set, but lost to Thomas More College (Ky.).
Hanover fell to the Saints 25-13, 25-18, 15-25, 21-25, 15-13 to slip to 2-3 on the season.
Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Hasewinkel (Sheridan, Ind.) totaled 15 kills and sophomore setter Allie Deaton (Lexington, Ky.) racked up a season-high 32 assists, missing her career high by just one, to lead the Panthers’ offense.
Senior defensive specialist Kylie Justus (Crawfordsville, Ind.) had a match-high 21 digs. Sophomore back-row mate Maddie Hartman (Madison, Ind.) added 14 digs, while Hasewinkel chipped in with a season-best 10 digs.
Thomas More raised its record to 2-1 with the win.
