Hanover College’s women’s tennis team raised its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference record to 2-0 with a 9-0 victory against Earlham College in Richmond, Ind.
Hanover, now 3-1 overall, notched wins in all three double matches, then swept six singles matches.
Sophomore Alexis Taylor (Frankfort, Ind.) defeated Earlham’s Jordyn Grimes 6-0, 6-0 in a clash at No. 3. Freshman Mallory Noble (Fishers, Ind.) blanked the Quakers' Annie Foley 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 4 slot and sophomore Kelsey Jones (Hanover, Ind.) shut out Gabrielle Williams 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5.
The loss was the first of the season for Earlham, now 2-1 overall and 0-1 in the HCAC.
