The original, award-winning comedy, “Broadway’s Next Hit Musical,” will appear at Hanover College, Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m., in Parker Auditorium. The Homecoming performance is part of the 2013-14 Community Arts Series.
These amazing singer-actors create a brand new, fully improvised musical comedy for every show. Act one is an award ceremony where the ensemble uses the audience to create song titles; the performers then generate different melodies, lyrics and dance routines. The second act is an entire musical based on the winning number from act one.
The New York Times called this improvised and interactive play “hilarious for all ages.”
Tickets for Broadway’s Next Hit Musical are $15 in advance, $18 at the door for adults; $15 for seniors (65+) and Hanover faculty and staff; and $5 for youth (high school and under); students with a Hanover ID get in free.
