Soccer players Drew Servais (Carmel, Ind.), Chloe Hutchinson (Louisville, Ky.), Erin Hancock (Amelia, Ohio) and Tricia Walsh (Amelia, Ohio) have earned academic all-region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Servais, a junior defender, has been selected to the NSCAA’s North/Central Region second team. Hutchinson, Hancock and Walsh have each received honorable mention academic all-region honors.
A kinesiology and integrative physiology major, Servais scored one goal and had three assists in 20 starts as a defender for the Panthers during the 2013 season.
Hutchinson, a senior kinesiology and integrative physiology major, tallied one goal and four assists in 18 appearances as part of Hanover's defensive unit.
Hancock, a junior chemistry major, netted two goals and had three assists in 22 starts in the midfield through the fall season.
Walsh, a junior biology and pre-medicine major, totaled four goals and four assists in 21 matches as an attacker.
Hanover's men's team finished the 2013 campaign with a 10-8-2 record. The Panthers set school records for overall and league wins and also had a school-record six-match winning streak.
Hanover's women's squad set a school single-season record with 18 wins and finished with an 18-2-2 overall mark. The Panthers also set school marks with a 10-match winning streak and 16-match unbeaten streak (14-0-2) during the season.
