Tamara Dearing and The Sandpaper Dolls will perform a collection of soulful ballads, country funk and standards during a performance, Friday, March 7, as part of Hanover College’s Community Artist Series.
Dearing has released three albums and been featured on Louisville, Ky., radio station WFPK’s “Live Lunch.” She also appears on several “Louisville is for Lovers” compilation albums alongside Louisville musicians My Morning Jacket, Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Ben Sollee.
She is a Jefferson County native and 2002 Hanover graduate.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Fitzgibbon Recital Hall, Lynn Center for Fine Arts.
General admission tickets for the performance cost $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets for senior citizens (65+) cost $12 and youth (18-) seats are $5.
