Student Broadcasting Videos

Our communication students create real stories for airing on the Hanover College Channel. As part of their classes, students create feature stories for their bi-weekly show called "To the Point." Produced by the Electronic Newsgathering class and the Student Broadcasting Association, our student reporters get to write and edit stories for a newscast taped live in our TV studio. The program runs later in Madison on educational cable access channel 22. After graduation, these videos are great for their portfolios!

"To the Point" stories:

Writing for broadcast media is a specialized form of communication that requires you to learn how to write for both audio and video forms in addition to mastering the fine art of scriptwriting. Take a look at these videos produced by our "Writing for the Broadcast Media" students and shot and edited by campus channel student staff.
