Hanover College Information Technology is responsible for the high speed data network, wireless data network, cable TV, e-mail, calendaring, internet access, file storage, messaging, web service, and the campus computer lab/server systems management and development. The department is also responsible for all computer hardware and software purchases, computer systems management, campus support, and computer consultation for students, faculty, and staff. Information Technology also provides professional computer applications training to students, faculty, and staff on an on-going basis at no charge. IT Help Desk
The Hanover College IT Help Desk is the main support center for all computing support on campus. Staffed by students, the Help Desk is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday), giving instant phone support to the entire campus community during these hours. If you're having computer trouble, you can bring your computer by the Help Desk for free service at any time (during hours of operation) throughout the week. Free student support includes: antivirus software installation/configuration, spyware removal, disk cleanups, disk defragmentation, software updates (Windows Updates), and other requested services. The Help Desk will also aid you with any computer questions you may have relating to personal software or hardware problems.
