Award Notification Timeline and Important Dates
Hanover College gives every consideration to maintaining scholarship and grant awards from year to year. Financial Assistance, however, may fluctuate due to changes in your financial status. You must complete the FAFSA application process each year to retain need-based aid and loan eligibility.
1.) Apply and Earn Admission to Hanover College
Early Admission (non-binding) | Apply Online
Deadline – December 1
Notification Date – December 20
Regular Admission (non-binding)
After the Early Admission period, the college will begin reviewing completed applications and mailing admission decisions on a rolling basis after January 15. The Regular Decision period will continue until April 1. After April 1, applications will be considered on a "space available" basis only.
2.) Complete the FAFSA | FAFSA Information
Deadline for completion is March 10
Indiana students must file the FAFSA by March 10 to qualify for Indiana state grants.
Hanover College School Code = 001801 (needed in Step Six on the FAFSA form)
After filing the FAFSA you will receive a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR). This will list all the information you submitted on the FAFSA. Check it carefully for mistakes or necessary corrections.
3.) Receive an Award Letter from Hanover College
Award letters will be mailed weekly beginning on or near the first week of March. Award letters will detail all merit and need-based aid you have been awarded.
4.) Enroll at Hanover College
The deadline for submitting the $250 enrollment deposit at Hanover College is May 1.
