Presidential Scholars Program
The Presidential Scholars Program is a prestigious scholarship program which will be held in January this year. Applicants who have completed their application for admission by December 1st are considered for invitation. Invitations are mailed in mid-December to the top applicants each year.
Hanover awards more than $2,000,000 worth of scholarships through this program. Invited finalists can choose one of two available weekends to come to Hanover's beautiful 650 acre campus with the opportunity to earn scholarships up to $25,000 per year.
In addition to potentially earning scholarships, the finalists get to sample life at Hanover College. Scholars stay with hosts on campus and enjoy a banquet, information sessions, student events and other activities Friday evening with an essay and interview session beginning Saturday morning (Schedule of Events). Parents of finalists have activities planned for them as well, including the banquet, special sessions, and a Saturday morning breakfast hosted by the Hanover College Parents' Association.
