International Students - How to Apply
Requirements
Your application for admission to Hanover will be considered when the following items have been received:
1. Complete application for admission (See Instructions for Download below)
2. Original or certified/attested true copies of transcripts from the applicants secondary school and any college or university attended
3. Proof of English Proficiency, any of the items below will be accepted
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

• International English Language Testing Service (IELTS)
IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. For more information on IELTS, please visit www.ielts.org
• Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Hanover's school code is 1290. For more information on the SAT, please visit their website: www.collegeboard.com
• American College Test (ACT)
Hanover's school code is 1200. For more information on the ACT, please visit www.act.org
4. Personal Statement
5. Letter of recommendation from a current teacher or instructor
6. Identification photograph (approximately 2" X 3")
7. Photocopy of passport
8. Financial Documentation, any of the items below will be accepted
• College Board International Student Financial Aid Application and Certification of Finances along with sponsor's original or official bank statement or other proof of sufficient funds.
Admission Priority Dates
All applications for fall term are reviewed beginning February 1st. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling admission basis until the class is full.
Instructions For Download
Our International Student application for admission and the College Board International Student Financial Aid application are available here in Adobe Acrobat format. You may need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader program to use these forms by clicking the "Get Acrobat Reader" button below. This will take you to Adobe's Acrobat download page. Follow the instructions and installation is easy!
After you download the Acrobat Reader, you can then come back to this page and download our Freshman application form and/or the Declaration of Financial Support form, print them on your printer, complete the forms and send them to us at the address on the application form.
