International Life at Hanover
Haq Center
Hanover College named The Haq Center for two of its prominent faculty members who were a strong presence in Hanover's international community. The Haq Center is a gathering place for international and minority students. It also serves as the central office for the International and Minority Student advisor.
International Club
Hanover created the International Club, which is open to all students on campus, to encourage interactions between students of all nationalities. They meet on a weekly basis in the Haq Center. The club hosts a number of campus programs, but their crowning event is the I-Club Banquet that occurs every spring. The banquet gives our international students the opportunity to share a piece of their home in the way that best suites them. This event draws large numbers of the entire campus community.
International / Minority Student Advisor
The International / Minority Student Advisor provides a variety of services to international students including international student orientation, immigration advising, academic support services, education programs and social activities. In addition, the center serves as a liaison between academic departments, administrative offices and the community. If you have questions about the services available to international students once they arrive on campus contact our Coordinator of International Admission at intl@hanover.edu
