Hanover Alumni Network

The Hanover Alumni Network (HAN) is an association of Central Indiana alumni leaders and executives committed to fostering networking and camaraderie among Hanover College alumni. Working closely with the College, the HAN is dedicated to advancing the professional development of alumni and students by providing networking opportunities, and enriching and strengthening the relationship between alumni, students and the College. As a Hanoverian, you enjoy membership in this network of alumni who are the 'movers and shakers' in virtually every field of business in Indianapolis!


Indianapolis Museum of Art Hanover Alumni Network Event

NOVEMBER 5, 2009

Hanover College President Sue DeWine invites you to attend a networking event November 5 at the Indianapolis Museum of Art's newly renovated Fountain Room and Nourish Café.  Now is the perfect time to touch base with other alumni before the holiday rush is upon us!  The first hour is dedicated soley to alumni to connect and continue to grow their professional networks.  Beginning at 6:30, admitted students from the Indianapolis area will join us to interact with alumni. 

As a Hanoverian, you enjoy membership in this network of alumni who are 'movers and shakers' in virtually every field of business in Indianapolis! Networking events are planned three times a year in the Metro-Indianapolis area to provide alumni the opportunity to develop an informal network of Hanover alumni in the Indiana business community, and to support current Hanover College students and Admission efforts.  You can make a difference by attending this event; as many as 40 % of prospective students who have attended an alumni reception in Indianapolis become Hanover students! 

On-site parking is free.  Museum will remain open for touring following the network event.  Nourish Cafe aslo offers a dinner menu for alumni who wish to remain after the reception for a pay-as-you-go dinner.

Indianapolis Hanover Alumni Network to Host Network Social Event 

August 22, 2009

Come cheer on your team as the Indianapolis Indians and the Louisville Bats battle it out on the baseball diamond. Hanoverians will be in the Coors Light Picnic Area ~a neutral zone~ for a pre-game picnic, then move to Hanover's stadium seating to 'get their game on'!

Last year over 150 Indianapolis Hanoverians enjoyed the Coors Light Corner, and this year they challenge Louisville to come support their regional team on Indians turf! Don't miss this chance to reconnect with your Hanover friends before the summer's gone at the best picnic and baseball fun of the year. There's no better way to network!!

The pre-game picnic includes the Ballpark Buffet in the Coors Light Corner (located in the Southeast corner of the stadium), game admittance and stadium seating! Buffet time is 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and includes: hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, pasta salad, fruit salad, soft drinks, beer, cookies. Beer service is provided for 75 minutes from the time the picnic opens.  I.D. may be required in the Coors Light Corner when being served beer.

Hanover College hosted a student/alumni networking event at the Governor's Residence in Indianapolis!
February 24, 2009
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Each year, a special student/alumni career-networking event is held, linking students with alumni who share experiences and offer insight, encouragement and ideas to invigorate and assist with job searches. This fabulous program also allows students to begin making local business contacts in Indiana in preparation for possible internships, job shadowing and future jobs!

The hors d'oeuvres reception also represents an efficient and cost-effective opportunity for employers to meet prospective full-time employees and interns. Resumes are made available to participants, and employers are encouraged to bring business cards and literature regarding their organizations. *Cost to attend the event was $25.00. Thank you to those who joined us at this event in the newly renovated Governor's Residence.

Reservations had to be made in advance for security reasons-no one was admitted in unless they had registered prior to the event.

Indianapolis Hanover Alumni Network Event Held

Canterbury Hotel

The Hanover Alumni Network hosted a fabulous social event at Victory Field in late summer 2008 with 152 alumni and friends in attendance. On September 17, Hanover alumni shared Hanover experiences with prospective students at the Canterbury Hotel located downtown Indianapolis.
