    6th Annual THE SCENIC: A 5K with a View - The Point
    Start your Homecoming morning off with a 5K walk or run around Hanover’s beautiful campus.  All proceeds will benefit Hanover College’s new Wellness Program.  Register now to secure your discounted price and a T- shirt.  Children are welcome to participate in the 5K race or register for a 1 mile youth race around the center of campus.  Registration and packet pick up at The Point will open at 7:30 a.m. on race day.  Shower facilities are available at the John and Anne Horner Health and Recreation Center (please bring toiletries and towels).  For more information, contact Bill Tereshko at tereshko@hanover.edu or call 812-866-6750.

    As you return to Hanover for a time of reconnecting and reunion, pause for a moment of calm reflection to honor and celebrate the life of a deceased alumni friend.  Stop by the Brown Chapel to remember someone by adding a tribute candle to the display in their honor.

    Ward ’60 &Jo Ann ’63 Withrow Student Activities Center - J. Graham Brown Campus Center Lower Level
    Come by the campus center and grab a hot cup of coffee in The Coffee Shop located in the new student activities center.  Renovated from an old swimming pool area to a fabulous recreational area for students, the Ward and Jo Ann Withrow Student Activities Center was made possible by a gift from Jo Ann Flubacher Withrow ’63 given in memory of her late husband, Howard ‘Ward’ Withrow ’60.  In addition to recreational activities, the new center provides a study space for students, workrooms for student organizations and the upstairs area houses the offices of student life staff.  Stop by and have a look around!

    Earthwide Outreach by Students (EOS) - Tailgate Lot
    Threads of Hope bracelets and homemade bake goods will be offered for sale to support the EOS student trip to Peru.  Half of the money raised from selling the two dollar bracelets will go back to help the women who made them in the Philippines.

    Art Exhibition ‘Artworks by John Douglas Powers’ - CFA
    John Douglas Powers’ sculptural work has been exhibited nationally, with videos and animations screened internationally. Powers studied art history at Vanderbilt University and sculpture at The University of Georgia. His work has been featured in The New York Times, World Sculpture News, Sculpture Magazine, and on CBS News Sunday Morning.  Powers, originally from Frankfort, Indiana, currently lives and works in Knoxville, TN where he is Assistant Professor of Sculpture at The University of Tennessee. There will be public lecture and closing reception in Greiner Art Gallery on Friday, October 25th.

The Daryl R. Karns Natural History Trails
Embedded in Hanover’s woodlands are four hiking trails that are open for all to enjoy.  Each trail is marked with international hiking markers in blue, red, green and orange that are attached to trees with aluminum nails. Crowe Valley Trail, Happy Valley Trail, Horseshoe Falls Trail and Upper Bluff Trail are of varying lengths and difficulty.  Go to:  www.hanover.edu/trails for more information.  Shower facilities are available at the John and Anne Horner Health & Recreation Center (please bring toiletries and towels).

Available tailgate spots will be rented on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Please Note:  Reunions in the tailgate lot will already have designated areas for their celebrations.  It is NOT necessary to purchase a space to participate in your reunion, unless you wish to park your car, or place your own tent in the tailgate area.
