Class Agent Program

Through the Class Agent program, each class is represented by one or two volunteers who are responsible for coordinating and implementing the fund-raising process for the Hanover Fund in their class.

The purposes of the Class Agent Program are:
• To improve the relationship between alumni and the college.
• To increase the percentage of alumni who participate in the Hanover Fund.
• To increase the unrestricted dollars given by alumni in the support of Hanover.
• To raise the effectiveness of Hanover College's development staff by working with class leaders.

Class Agent Responsibilities
Class Agents are volunteers for the development office and write two letters to their classmates each fiscal year to encourage financial support of Hanover College. A CA's role is to make sure that all classmates have been contacted and have been given the opportunity to participate in the Hanover Fund. A Class Agent should understand philanthropy, have the time to serve as a Hanover volunteer, be motivated and have the ability to motivate others, be a well-known and respected member of the Class, and have a positive track record of giving to Hanover College.
