Junior Danielle Miller (Fairway, Kansas) was a first-team all-league selection and one of four members of the Hanover College’s women's tennis team to earn post-season honors from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Miller was a first-team selection for the second year in a row. She was joined on the all-HCAC squad by sophomore Kelsey Jones (Hanover, Ind.) and freshman Alexis Taylor (Frankfort, Ind.), who received honorable mention recognition. Senior Kim Fong (Nashville, Ind.) was named to the league’s all-sportsmanship team.
A two-time all-Heartland Conference honoree, Miller posted a 6-3 singles record. She was 5-1 in the No. 1 position and 4-1 in conference matches.
Jones was 6-6 in singles action during her first season with the Panthers. She was 5-2 in HCAC matches playing at the Nos. 2-5 positions.
She also paired with three different partners for a 3-1 record in doubles matches spanning the Nos. 1-3 slots.
In her first collegiate season, Taylor posted a 7-5 mark in singles action, including a 5-2 record in league matches. She played in the Nos. 1-3 positions.
Fong, a four-year member of Hanover's squad, had two wins in singles matches and three as a doubles partner for the Panthers.
Under head coach Rich Lord, Hanover posted a 5-6 overall record. The squad finished fourth in the Heartland Conference standings with a 4-4 mark.
