Hanover College’s men’s tennis launched its 2014 spring season with an 8-1 loss to Concordia College-Moorhead (Minn.) in Lakeland, Fla.
Junior Brian Clark (Greenfield, Ind.) and his brother, sophomore Reid Clark (Greenfield, Ind.), captured Hanover’s sole victory with an 8-4 win against Concordia-Moorhead’s Jesse Schneeberger and Zach Zitur at No. 1 doubles.
The Panthers (0-1) were swept in all six singles matches. Brian Clark dropped a three-set match to Schneeberger at No. 1, falling 6-4, 2-6, 10-6. Zitur edged Reid Clark, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 2.
Concordia-Moorhead improved to 1-4 with the victory.
