Sophomore Nick Jaeger (Terre Haute, Ind.) led three members of Hanover College’s men’s indoor track & field team who have earned all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference honors.
Jaeger was a first-team all-HCAC honoree for the second consecutive season. He claimed his second straight Heartland Conference title in the high jump with a leap of 1.93 meters.
Freshman sprinter Torrey Gardiner (Lafayette, La.) received second-team all-league honors. He matched his season-best time of 7.18 seconds to post a second-place finish in the 60-meter dash.
Freshman sprinter Enrico Franchini (Sao Paolo, Brazil) was named to the Heartland Conference’s sportsmanship team. Franchini finished seventh in the 200-meter dash with a season-best time of 23.68 seconds.
Hanover was seventh among 10 schools at the indoor championship. The Panthers totaled 39 points in the meet.
