Panthers drop HCAC battle at Rose-Hulman

Hanover College’s men’s tennis team was beaten, 8-1, by the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference battle in Terre Haute, Ind.

Sophomore Josh Ruse (Indianapolis, Ind.) notched Hanover's lone victory in the HCAC clash, outlasting Rose-Hulman's Nate Moore, 2-6, 6-3, 12-10 at No. 4.

Senior Jordan Myers (Indianapolis, Ind.) lost to the Engineers' Matthew Conrad, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) at No. 3 singles. Junior Andrew Laubner (Elkhart, Ind.) fell at No. 5 to Erin Miller, 6-3, 6-3.

Hanover is now 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the HCAC. Rose-Hulman raised its mark to 2-4 overall and 2-0 in the league.
