Recent Hanover College graduate Robert Bader (Louisville, Ky.) has earned honorable mention all-America honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America.
As a senior, Bader played his way to all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and PING all-Great Lakes Region honors. He set Hanover’s single-season scoring average record (74.0), tied for first place in the Heartland Conference championship and set a school 36-hole record (140) to win the Hanover Invitational.
Bader logged eight top-10 finishes during the fall and spring seasons, including six top-four finishes with first-place scores at the Hanover Invitational, Defiance Invitational and the Heartland Conference finals (lost in playoff).
Established in 1958, the Golf Coaches Association of America has more than 750 members representing all three National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) divisions as well as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
