Women's Athletics
Hanover College's women's intercollegiate athletic program offers eight varsity sports, including basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field and volleyball. More than 40 percent of Hanover's student body participates in the intercollegiate athletics program.
The Panthers are affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Division III) and compete as part of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, which features nine private colleges and universities in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
The College's athletic philosophy, rooted in the ideals of the college's liberal arts traditions, promotes the concept of the total person, which stresses academic achievement, develops positive character traits and encourages the ability to excel in athletic competition.
Hanover endeavors to make its programs an enduring source of pride for participants, alumni, and the broader community of which we are a part.
