Student Engagement Action Days
SEA days provide students the opportunity to connect leadership with real-life service situations in the Hanover/Madison community. Students learn about a community organization, provide services to the organization and collectively discuss the day's events and their implications for society.
Service Learning Trips
SLTs are student-initiated trips that incorporate community service, academic subject matter and thoughtful reflection. Students and a faculty sponsor travel to a location within the continental United States to provide service to an organization, community or region. SLTs incorporate, at their center, service to a site and discussion of the service as it relates to citizenship, leadership and any other selected content area(s).
