Guest Artist Series 08-09
Capitol Steps
Thursday, September 18 | 7:30 PM
Collier Arena
The famous political humor group out of Washington, D.C., has doled out equal-opportunity political satire to Republicans and Democrats alike for more than 30 years. Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded 27 albums, including their latest, "Springtime for Liberals." They've been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard four times a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their "Politics Takes a Holiday" radio specials. Since this will be the height of the presidential election campaign season, Capitol Steps is much in demand throughout the country, and we are fortunate, indeed, to have been able to book them for Hanover. This should be great fun!

Christian Music Artist, Aaron Shust
Thursday, March 26 | 7:30 PM
Parker Auditorium
Presented by MainSource Bank
Our sellout event of the 07-08 season was a concert by Christian music recording star, Mark Schultz. We asked our audience whom they would most like to see this year and rising star Aaron Shust was a top choice. Shust's 2006 debut album, "Anything Worth Saying" featured the hit single, "My Savior, My God," named #1 Song of the Year by many Christian music publications. His most recent album, "Whispered and Shouted," was a 2008 Dove Award nominee for outstanding Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year. This concert is sure to be another sellout!
Rockapella
Thursday, April 30 | 7:30 PM
Parker Auditorium
In existence since 1986, this widely-known and much-loved male a capella music group is perhaps best known for its series of Folgers Coffee commercials and the "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" theme song. They've made more than a dozen albums through the years, released in the U.S. and around the world. A rousing, end-of-the-season concert by one of America's first and all-time favorite a capella groups!
