Counseling Services

The staff is comprised of the Director (full-time), a Staff Psychologist (part-time), and an Administrative Assistant (part-time). The following is a brief description of our permanent staff.

David R. Reetz, M.A., Doctoral Candidate
Counseling Services Coordinator
David comes to Hanover from Christopher and Associates, a group mental health practice in Seymour, Indiana, where he provided comprehensive clinical services for the past four years. He earned his bachelor's of science degree in Psychology and Human Development from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and his master's of arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. David completed his doctoral studies in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University and is a dissertation defense away from his Ph.D. While attending Indiana University, David trained one year in their student Counseling and Psychological Services. He also completed his pre-doctoral internship at the University of Missouri-Columbia Counseling Center. David has been trained as a generalists, that is, he is prepared to work with most student issues.

Katie Dine Young, Psy.D., HSPP
Staff Psychologist
Katie is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her B.A. from Bowling Green University in Psychology and a Psy.D. from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. She comes to Hanover after working for University Psychiatric Services, Department of Psychiatry (University of Cincinnati); Hyde Park Psychological Services (Cincinnati, OH), and Quinco Consulting Associates (Madison, IN). She specialized in child and family therapy. Her professional interests include developmental theory, educational theory and narrative therapy.

Linda Novello
Administrative Assistant
In her work with Counseling Services, Linda is responsible for arranging appointments, managing client files, maintaining our database, and assisting with various administrative projects.
