Person who pushes you or makes you better: My family always encourages me to be the best I can be, whether in academics or in athletics.
Road trip stories: My first scrimmage game at Hanover College turned out to be a road trip for my family. There was some miscommunication between my family and me. They ended up at the wrong gym. Instead of coming to Hanover where the scrimmage was being played, they drove 2 hours to Centre College instead of the short 45 minute drive from Salem. Now, they call me on game day to be sure of the location.
Other athletes in your family: My older sister, Whitney, was a four-sport athlete at Salem High School.
Special sports accomplishments: Cross Country Semi-State Qualifier for all 4 years of high school. At Salem High School, our girls' cross country team was the first Sectional and Regional champion in school history. All Mid-Southern Conference for basketball my senior year. All County Team for basketball. All Conference my senior year in track and field. During my senior year at SHS, I was named Athlete of the Year.
Your guilty pleasure: When my family goes camping, I'm a huge firebug. I love playing in fire. Also, in my hometown, we have the H & R Bakery; they make the best donuts and brownies by far in southern Indiana.
