Person who pushes you or makes you better: My family always encourages me to be the best I can be, whether in academics or in athletics.
What do you like to do outside of your sport: I enjoy running and riding my bike around the Hanover campus.
Favorite class and why: My favorite class is my Foundations of Education class because I am able to go to Southwestern Elementary School and tutor second graders.
Road trip stories: My first scrimmage game at Hanover College turned out to be a road trip for my family. There was some miscommunication between my family and me. They ended up at the wrong gym. Instead of coming to Hanover where the scrimmage was being played, they drove 2 hours to Centre College instead of the short 45 minute drive from Salem. Now, they call me on game day to be sure of the location.
Special sports accomplishments: Cross Country Semi-State Qualifier for all 4 years of high school. At Salem High School, our girls' cross country team was the first Sectional and Regional champion in school history. All Mid-Southern Conference for basketball my senior year. All County Team for basketball. All Conference my senior year in track and field. During my senior year at SHS, I was named Athlete of the Year.
