Who is your role model: I admire my high school running coach who balances her life with training for running, races, and triathlons, even Ironmans.
Road trip stories: I traveled to Ecuador and Peru for May term 2013. I went to Haiti on a mission trip over Christmas 2013. We drove all the way to the airport in Florida and back and got a flat tire in Georgia at 1:00 in the morning.
What do you like to do outside of your sport: Hike, swim, bike, and read books.
Favorite class and why: Spanish. Learning a new language is like solving a jigsaw puzzle. The picture grows clearer the longer I work, and I discover the fitting pieces each day in class. I improve so quickly, and it's so satisfying. I can't wait to travel to Spain.
Person who pushes you or makes you better: My teammates. All of them.
