I received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hanover College. Before coming to Hanover, I graduated from Northrop High School in Fort Wayne, IN in 2003, and I spent a year working as office and accounts manager in a plastic injection-molding factory. I am also first-generation, meaning that neither of my parents graduated from college, so I feel I have a particular insight into the decision-making process for those students coming from a similar background.

Why I think Hanover is a good choice… Hanover students come from diverse backgrounds and explore all their options before they choose their major. At Hanover, the classroom experience is only one variable in the equation of a student's success; research opportunities, study abroad, organization leadership positions, and a host of other experiences helped me to decide which career path to take--and I think everyone can benefit from the hands-on approach professors take to teaching. Also, being a part of a community of other individuals who are always interested in you--your positions, your viewpoints, your growth, and your success--and who you know and work with daily is a special opportunity Hanover College affords her students. During four years, you'll learn much about your chosen discipline, but you'll also learn a lot about yourself.

Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy spending time outside (especially hiking the many trails on HC's campus), reading, listening to music, and traveling.

Travel Territory: Indiana Counties - Adams, Allen, Blackford, Decatur, DeKalb, Delaware, Elkhart, Fayette, Franklin, Grant, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Howard, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Madison, Marion, Miami, Noble, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Steuben, Tipton, Union, Wabash, Wayne, Wells, and Whitley.
