Bio:
Dr. Porter comes to Hanover from the University of Puget Sound. Dr. Porter is the author of many publications and book reviews and has also made many conference presentations. Her research areas include social organization; gender, kinship, marriage and family; global political economy/globalization; East Africa; Middle East (Israel).
