Parents' Association Projects Sponsored in the Past
Duggan Library - As a focus place of study for students, faculty and staff, Duggan Library's ability to provide an enhanced learning environment has been enriched by a grant for the purchase of a laptop computer.
Haq Center - An international satellite system connection, with French and Spanish programming, will update the current system used by the Haq Center thanks in part to the grant provided by the Parents' Association. A scanner, DVD and Carem Board pieces will also be purchased for student usage.
Department of Education - Elementary and Secondary teacher candidates will benefit from having a die cut set available for use while working on their field experiences and student teaching courses.
Hanover College Cheerleaders - The Hanover mascot is a traditional and recognizable part of campus life. The panther makes appearances at athletic competitions, fund raising events and many public relations events. The current panther is quite worn and outdated and will be retiring soon, thanks to a grant to purchase a new panther suit!
Communication Department - Hanover College Cat's Meow Collectibles, sold by the Parents' Association, will be donated for use as set pieces in the college television studio. The Point, Lynn Hall, Entrance Sign and Parker Auditorium collectibles will provide part of the backdrop scenery during on-camera interviews with faculty and staff for the campus channel.
Athletics Department - Due to the ever evolving nature of sports, an updated digital video editing and game analysis system would be beneficial in remaining competitive with other institutions.

Parents' Day of Fun!
Student Life - To increase students' awareness in day to day events through the venue of newspapers, a grant will pay for subscriptions to the Courier Journal, Indianapolis Star, Madison Courier and USA Today. Papers will be available daily in the campus center.
Academic Affairs - This department was granted money to cover the costs in full of a Hanover College Choral Tour. Editing equipment was partially funded.
All Parents' Association projects are supported by gifts made to the association in part by parents of current Hanover College students. All gifts to the association are tax deductible, and, Indiana residents qualify for state tax credits using Schedule CC-40.
