What is a Legacy?
Family connections have long been a part of the success of Hanover College and its students. This "legacy" traces a direct family path to our campus. Nearly 10 percent of the students currently enrolled at Hanover have family members who have studied here.
Many of the students currently on campus are the sons and daughters of Hanover graduates. Other fellow students may follow a path which reaches farther into the past. Besides the parents who are alumni, these paths to Hanover may include grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters.
Some recent graduates have come from families with more than 20 Hanoverians in their midst.
