A group of 12 athletes from Hanover College's four winter athletic teams have earned academic honors from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

The Tom Bohlsen Academic All-Conference Award is presented to student-athletes who have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average or higher. The athletes also must have completed the equivalent of a complete academic year as a full-time student. The cumulative grade-point average is based on an athlete's classroom performance through the end of the semester preceding the recent fall season.

The award recognizes the contributions of Bohlsen, a 1957 Hanover graduate who served as the Heartland Conference’s first commissioner from 1998 to 2008.
