"Elaine's bold leadership and extensive experience as the owner of her own financial consulting company will be great assets to promote Indiana's positive business climate and jobs magnet reputation," said Holcomb. "I look forward to working alongside Elaine and Secretary (Jim) Schellinger as we continue to grow the state's economy and take Indiana to the next level."

Kops-Bedel, vice-chair of Hanover College’s Board of Trustees, is the chief executive officer and president of the Indianapolis, Ind.-based Bedel Financial Consulting, Inc.
