The Hanover College Theatre will present the romantic comedy, “Things My Mother Taught Me,” Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 26-29. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. in The Other Place, located in the former Donner Lecture Hall.

“Things My Mother Taught Me” offers generational views of relationships and the nature of love, as well as a true-to-life glimpse at how parents, sometimes unwittingly, pass along some of their best life lessons.

Written by Katherine DiSavino, “Things My Mother Taught Me” portrays the plight of Olivia and Gabe, who have driven halfway across the country to move into their first apartment together. Their moving day does not quite go as planned. Things become even more complicated when their parents show up to help.

Directed by V. Lori Hedges, Hanover’s production will provide a laugh-out-loud evening of entertainment.

General admission tickets are free, however, patrons are encouraged to reserve seats online in advance. Tickets may be printed or scanned upon entry from a barcode on a mobile phone.
