The Hanover College Theatre will present Tennessee Williams’ classic, “The Glass Menagerie,” Thursday-Sunday, Dec. 6-9.

First produced in 1944, “The Glass Menagerie” launched Williams into fame, fortune and, later, status as one of America’s greatest playwrights. Considered Williams’ seminal work, “The Glass Menagerie” is extracted from memories of the writer’s own life and examines the delicacy of family life, love, disappointment and hope.

Hanover's presentation is directed by Gabriel Vanover with technical direction by Christian Bowyer.

The Dec. 6-8 performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., while the Dec. 9 show will start at 2 p.m. All performances will be staged in The Other Place, located in the former Donner Lecture Hall.

General admission tickets are free; however, patrons are encouraged to reserve seats online in advance. Tickets may be printed or scanned upon entry from a barcode on a mobile phone. [TICKETS]
