Associate Athletic Trainer
Candace Clayton joins the Panthers for her third year as associate athletic trainer. Her primary assignments include football, men's basketball and softball.Candace spent her first two years at Hanover with the men's and women's soccer teams and the men's lacrosse team. She also covered the Heartland Conference Men's Tennis Championship, track & field events, NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships and assisted with other teams throughout the year.Candace earned her bachelors of arts in 2008 from Purdue University in Health and Kinesiology. Shortly afterward, she moved to Texas to earn her master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. In 2012, just prior to her graduation from SFA, Clayton became a board certified athletic trainer. She is a current member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association and the Indiana Athletic Trainers' Association. Clayton is licensed by the state of Indiana to practice as an athletic trainer.
