Transferring to Hanover
Completing your education at Hanover College is a great choice. Whether you are transferring from a 2-year institution or simply deciding it's time to make a change, we'll help make your move to Hanover a seamless one.
To transfer, you'll need to apply for admission and supply a complete transcript of your academic history to date. From there we can determine how many of your academic credits will be accepted toward a Hanover degree.
Course Transfer Requirements
Hanover College grants transfer credit for courses completed at other institutions under the following conditions:
- The transferring institution must be fully accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (North Central Association) or a similar regional accrediting agency.
- The coursework must be representative of the "Liberal Arts." Coursework taken at other Liberal Arts Colleges or at Colleges of Arts and Sciences at Universities is generally acceptable.
- The coursework must have received a grade of C or better, or the equivalent.
