Hanover College vs. Bluffton University 1:30 p.m.

A weekend of festivities is planned each year for Homecoming weekend. Alumni, parents, current and prospective students are all encouraged to enjoy a fall day on Hanover's beautiful campus. Traditional Homecoming activities include the Alumni & Faculty Reception on Friday evening at the President's House, the 7th Annual 5K with a View on Saturday morning, Hanoverfest in the Tailgate Lot, thirteen reunion celebrations and of course, the football game.

Registration is now closed. Walk up registration can take place either at the red tent in the tailgate lot or at your reunion location.

Installation Ceremony of President Lake Lambert

This year is the installment of our sixteenth president, Dr. Lake Lambert III. Be sure to see this historic ceremony on Saturday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. on The Point. Then join us for the Inaugural Gala that evening at 8:00 p.m. in the Science Center. Learn more information about the Inauguration Schedule.

Join us at Hanoverfest - New this year!
11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Featuring samples from breweries who have a Hanover alumni connection: Sun King, Resignation, Upland, and Hofbrahaus. Alumni and friends will have an opportunity to visit each brewery’s table at their own pace during the biergarten’s operating hours. A formal tasting and information session will be held at 1:00 p.m. Also enjoy German food, door prizes, music, and a kids corner with face painting, cookie decorating and inflatables. All alumni and friends are welcome to attend all the activities at no charge, however, there is a fee for the buffet lunch. (Registrations received by September 21 will automatically be entered for door prizes).

Hanoverfest Buffet Lunch:
The buffet is available from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The cost is $15/adult, $8/children 4-12, and is free for children under 4. Early registration and walk up purchases will be available.

All alumni are special and are invited back to campus for Hanoverfest in the Tailgate Lot. However, each year during Homecoming, The Alumni Engagement Office recognizes 13 classes and provides a special gathering place for them to reminisce. This year, starting with the Class of 1950, we will hold special reunion gatherings for all class years ending in '0' and '5' through 2010.


  • Classes of 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, & 2010 will receive their Homecoming & Reunion information only through email.
  • Classes of 1950, 1955, 1960 & 1965 will receive their Homecoming & Reunion information through email and regular mail.
