class of 1955 (65-year reunion)
Being mindful of rising rates of infections and the significant risks that COVID-19 presents to your class, we made the decision to postpone your Golden Panther Reunion (55-year, 60-year, and 65-year classes) to Homecoming 2021 which will be held on Saturday, October 2. Your reunion will be held in conjunction with the 2021 Golden Panther classes of 1956, 1961, and 1964. We want to be able to recognize this significant milestone and as safely as possible. Our hope is that, by October of 2021, COVID-19 is abated and we can return to normal.
I understand that this change impacts each of you. I believe that moving the Golden Panther Reunion will give you the opportunity to gather with your classmates—just a bit later than you may have originally planned.
Thank you for your patience as we work through the many issues related to the pandemic.

What is the Golden Panther Reunion?
Five years ago, The Golden Panther Reunion was created as a special gathering for all reunions classes who are celebrating their 55-year, 60-year, and 65-year reunion. This gathering takes place in the Campus Center beginning at 11:00 a.m. and includes lunch. The GPR gathering is a great opportunity to celebrate our older alumni in a comfortable setting and allows for great conversation and mingling with fellow Hanoverians. If you don't want to go out to the football game, no worries! A large-screen television will be available to watch the game.
