Hanover College’s Office of Alumni Relations and the Athletics Department are hosting the Scenic Run/Walk 5K for Homecoming 2020. This year, due to COVID-19 regulations, the Scenic 5K will be held virtually. The 5K will take place from October 8th to 10th. It is a race anytime anywhere setup similar to the Impact Hanover 5K that was held in May 2020. All proceeds of the 5K will go towards the Panther Club Fund. On Saturday, October 10, join Jim Watts, Women's Head Soccer Coach, and Director of the Panther Club to discuss how the funds benefit student-athletes.

This event is free for students and you can contact Theresa Hitchcock to sign up. For alumni and HC community members, the cost is $5 per person which will cover the cost of shipping your bingo cards. Bingo cards will be mailed by October 1. Large prizes are for current student and Hanover branded prizes are for all other participants.

The Panther Club’s sole purpose is to provide additional financial assistance to our athletic department for our students, our coaches, and our teams. With your support, we will promote the championship spirit of Hanover athletics. Today, our teams support 430 student-athletes who compete in 18 NCAA Division III sports in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Hanover has achieved more than 20 conference championships in the past five years and the winning streak will continue with your generosity

Join Rick Lostutter, Associate Professor of Art
, as he demonstrates Raku and Kiln's work. What is this? Glass combing, or raking, is a fused glass technique where the glass is heated to a temperature high enough to allow the glass to be manipulated in the kiln. The glass is typically brought to between 1600 and 1700 degrees Fahrenheit and then a stainless steel tool (or rake) is used to swirl the glass.
