REGISTRATION is open through Friday, October 6, 2017.


CHECK-IN & REGISTRATION
will be held in the following locations on Saturday, October 14:

  • 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Campus Center (for all alumni and reunion classes)
  • 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Tailgate Lot (red tent) (classes of '12, '07, '82, '92 -check in at your specific reunion location - all others will be in the red tent)
  • Afternoon & Evening Reunions:
    • Classes of '52, '57, '62 (check-in/registration will also be available 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. or at 1:30 p.m. at your reunion location)
    • Classes of '67, '72, '72 (check-in/registration will also be at your evening reunion location)

Join Larry Thornton, professor of history, as he discusses Nazi Germany. The class will be discussing German foreign Policy from 1936-39 which would be the events leading up to the outbreak of World War II—what steps did the Nazi government take which moved Europe closer to war and how were those steps seen and responded to by governments in neighboring countries? Reading materials will be provided beforehand for all interested in attending this discussion. Class will be held in Classic Hall 203

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Campus Tour
An admission ambassador will give a walking tour of campus which will leave from the Campus Center lobby. The tour will last approximately an hour and visit the Science Center, Lynn Hall, Classic Hall, Campus Center, Hendricks (the Levett Career Center will be open and refreshments will be available), Duggan Library, Horner Center and Center for Fine Arts (registration is highly recommended for the tour).

Class of 1982 Friday Night Gathering at the Shoebox - private event

7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Class of 1967 Friday Night Gathering at the Red Bicycle Hall in downtown Madison. This is not a free event to attend. Cost to attend includes the Saturday night reunion gathering.

Homecoming Student Concert on the Quad (sponsored by the Campus Activities Board)

Food Options:

  • 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Breakfast with a prospective student in the Withrow Center located in the Campus Center (registration required)
  • 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Brunch is available in the Campus Center Dining Room
  • 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Walk-up food purchases will be available in the Hanoverfest tent in the tailgate lot (CASH ONLY)
  • 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. The Shoebox near the tailgate lot (alcohol sales available)
  • 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. The Underground located on the lower level of the Campus Center

5K with a View *location change
Check-in/registration will be held at Alumni Stadium this year and begin at 7:30 a.m. with the race beginning at 8:30 a.m. Race packets will be available during this time for pre-registered runners. After the pre-registration date, t-shirts will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Register HERE for the 5K

All Alumni & Reunion Check-in and Registration will be held in the Campus Center Lobby.
Registration will promptly close at 10:00 a.m. to prepare for the 11:00 a.m. check in out in the tailgate lot.

A Complimentary Continental Breakfast will be provided in the Withrow Center where you can meet with prospective students during the At-A-Glace Event. Registration is required for catering purposes.

Alumni with high school age children are invited to hear about the $3,000 Legacy Scholarship during this time too! Register to attend Hanover at a Glance! This is a weekend preview day and group event that provides prospective students and their families an opportunity to:

  • Take a walking tour of campus with a current Hanover student
  • Receive vital admission and financial assistance information
  • Meet the admission staff
  • Meet members of our outstanding faculty

Panther Shuttle Service
(golf carts) are available to take you between the Campus Center and the Tailgate Lot. The carts leave every 20 minutes.

Dinosaur Exhibit - Meet Tinker the Dinosaur in the Science Center, Hanover's juvenile T-rex

  • Beginning at 10:15 a.m., Brian Gall, Professor of Biology, will be the keynote speaker and present the history, evolution, and the role of the dinosaur display in the curriculum of Hanover College.

  • Class of 2012 - Hosted by Sara Homburg.
    A private gathering in tents near the large Hanoverfest tent. Look for the Class of 2012 reunion banner. For those who register by Friday, October 6, 2017, you will be able to enjoy Hinkle burgers and chips. After the deadline, walk up food purchases will be available in the Hanoverfest tent.

The Golden Panther Reunion gathering recognizes alumni who are celebrating their 55, 60 and 65-year reunion. Join us in the Alumni Lounge/Faculty Dining Room for an afternoon of hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Check-in and registration will be available at 1:30 in the Campus Center Lobby. You do not need to go to the tailgate lot! A TV will be available to watch the HC football game!
