HOUSTON – Senior women’s golfer Devan Smith (Depauw, Ind.), who will be entering the military service upon graduation at Hanover College, discussed how much the “Folds of Honor” day meant to her at the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf National Championship.

The national tournament honored fallen service members as part of the “Folds of Honor” program during Wednesday’s second round. Each golfer was playing in memory of a service member killed in the line of duty and there were commemorative plaques honoring fallen service members on each hole.
