Stump places third at Harrison Dillard Twilight

BEREA, Ohio – Sophomore Amanda Stump (Garrett, Ind.) continued her 2017 season at the Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet hosted by Baldwin Wallace and finished third in 3000-meter steeplechase.

The sophomore ran a time of 11:57.03, her second best time of her young career. Stump set her personal best at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships where she ran a time of 11:52.55.

In addition to Stump, senior Ivy Stevens (Goshen, Ky.) placed ninth in the hammer throw and sophomore Darrell Payne (Indianapolis, Ind.) finished eighth in the 400-meter dash.

Stevens recorded a distance of 46.05 meters, while Payne ran a time of 51.44, just missing his personal best time of 51.20, set at the conference championship meet.
