Why Impact Hanover Now? For the past three years, alumni and friends have come out in full force to make an impact on today’s students during Impact Hanover Day. This year, impact can’t wait for a day.
As our students, faculty, and staff navigate the challenges and uncertainty of learning and teaching amidst the public health and economic challenges of COVID-19, we look to our supporters to join us in continuing to deliver on the mission of transformative learning, meaningful service, and lifelong inquiry.
Your advocacy, your service, and your gifts will provide today’s students a firm foundation for the future – whether it’s through words of encouragement and pride, volunteering, or your gift of any size, which is needed now more than ever as an increasing number of students and their families now rely on you to make their Hanover College experience affordable.
For all you have done in the past, and for all you are doing now, thank you!
Wondering where to give? Our areas of greatest need are the Impact Hanover Fund, the Panther Emergency Assistance Fund, and the Home Away from Home Fund.
Impact Hanover Fund: The Impact Hanover Fund supports Hanover Grants – need-based financial assistance - to over 400 students each year. In this time of economic uncertainty for a growing number of students and their families, the Impact Hanover Fund is more important than ever.
Panther Emergency Assistance Fund: The Panther Emergency Assistance Fund provides support to both students and employees who are facing a financial hardship. Gifts to the fund have supported a wide variety of needs, including financial assistance with utilities, travel back home, graduate entrance exam fees, and much, much more.
Home Away From Home Fund: The Home Away from Home Fund was created by the Class of 2019 as their Senior Class Gift. Little did anyone know at that time how critical the fund would become in supporting the needs of students who were not able to travel home during the COVID-19 pandemic. This fund will remain important in supporting students who will be staying on campus through the summer.
