H1N1 Information
If you think you have H1N1, contact us IMMEDIATELY (x7082)! We will guide you in how to proceed from there. Do not come directly to Health Services - call us first!

We will continue to provide all of the services including: wellness checks (blood pressure, finger sticks, allergy shots), acute illness/injury exams, vaccinations, and lab work (will be drawn in Health Services and sent out with Quest Labs).

We are offering the seasonal influenza vaccine this year on a first-come, pre-register basis. Flu vaccines are already on backorder, but we are requiring everyone who wants one to pre-register. You will also have to pay for your flu vaccine at the time of administration. The vaccines are going to cost between $15 and $20 . We will have them available in mid-to late September. Due to H1N1, the CDC is STRONGLY recommending everyone get the seasonal flu vaccine this year, but quantities may be limited. Please contact us (via email or phone) and get on the list as soon as possible if you want the flu vaccine. You also have the option of getting the vaccine from your primary care doctor or the Health Department.

H1N1 vaccines: the Jefferson County Health department revealed the campus will be getting the vaccines in mid-October. However, there are specific subsets of individuals who will qualify for the initial doses of the vaccine. We are anticipating the vaccine will be available to the entire campus population late October/early November. These vaccines will be available free of charge. We will have mass vaccination clinic days scheduled. Additional information regarding the vaccines will be updated and distributed to the campus.
