“Heroes Scholarship” to aid families who have made the ultimate sacrifice

The Heroes Scholarship has been established to provide financial support for children of fallen heroes.
Beginning with the 2023-24 academic year, students with a parent or guardian who has died in the line of duty – while serving in the military, police, fire or as a first responder – will receive an award up to full tuition. To qualify, students must provide appropriate documentation. The scholarship is renewable for four years.
“Hanover College is eternally grateful for the sacrifices of those in the military, police, fire and emergency services,” said Peter Ashley, vice president for enrollment and marketing. “We hope that this scholarship eases the burden on these families and honors the service of the fallen.”
